Exploring the continued relevance of Margaret Thatcher’s philosophy and political beliefs, in 2025 the Margaret Thatcher Centre is launching an annual conference themed around one of her nine core principles of democracy, capitalism, deregulation, freedom, community, enterprise, nationhood, security and choice (these being the principles outlined by Margaret Thatcher when she accepted the presidency of Conservative Way Forward, which she held from 1991 until her death).

The conference will be organised in conjunction with Popular Conservatism and chaired by Andrew Allison, Conference Director of the Margaret Thatcher Centre. It will be held at a historic venue in Yorkshire with preference being given to existing supporters and past attendees at Margaret Thatcher Centre events.
