Ad Hoc Lectures

Ad Hoc Lectures

The Margaret Thatcher Centre’s aim has been to appeal to a wide range of audiences. As such, the Centre has been involved in organising a number of ad hoc events throughout the year in order to educate people on how the principles, values and vision of Margaret Thatcher apply today. Supporters of the Centre have heard from some of the most important individuals in their respective fields on matters including the rule of law, privacy and freedom of speech.

In addition to its series of planned events and programmes, the Margaret Thatcher Centre is privileged to have been able to host ad hoc keynote lectures given by

  • the then Governor of Louisiana, Bobby Jindal
  • the then Majority Leader of the US House of Representatives, Congressman Kevin McCarthy
  • US Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito
  • the late US Supreme Court Justice, Antonin Scalia
  • US Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas
  • US Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh

Details of future such lectures are published on the Margaret Thatcher Centre website with preference being given to existing supporters and past attendees at Margaret Thatcher Centre events.
