In 2025, the Margaret Thatcher Centre will be launching an annual academic symposium based around key anniversaries of landmark events during Margaret Thatcher’s premiership.

Under the chairmanship of the Academic Director of the Margaret Thatcher Centre, Tim Aker, the first symposium, held in the centennial year of her birth and during the 35^th anniversary of her departure from Downing Street, will centre on exploring Margaret Thatcher’s legacy.  The symposium will be held during July 2025 at an Oxbridge College with preference being given to existing supporters and past attendees at Margaret Thatcher Centre events.

The Margaret Thatcher Centre will also be publishing a hard-copy academic journal for which scholarly contributions for peer review will be invited in the New Year.
