Expanding Margaret Thatcher’s Legacy Through Lectures and Receptions

Honouring the alliance and friendship between Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan, the Reagan lectures allow the Margaret Thatcher Centre to introduce their shared values and beliefs to a new generation of people.

Those who attend these events hear from speakers at the forefront of international affairs and reflect on how the alliance can be strengthened in the years ahead.

We are delighted to announce the Shadow Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, former Secretary of State for the Home Department, and former Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, The Rt Hon Sir James Cleverly MP, delivered the Eighth Ronald Reagan Lecture at The Carlton Club, on Wednesday, 3rd September 2025.
