‘Sovereignty and Security – Borders and Asylum in a Troubled World’
Explore the enduring relevance of Margaret Thatcher’s philosophy at our first-ever Annual Policy Summit, hosted at the magnificent Broughton Hall in Yorkshire on Saturday, 22 November 2025 from 9:00am (sessions start at 10am) until 4:00pm (£75), or until 10:30pm if you attend our optional drinks reception and dinner (£150).The conference is themed around Margaret Thatcher’s nine core principles: democracy, capitalism, deregulation, freedom, community, enterprise, nationhood, security and choice as outlined during her presidency of Conservative Way Forward.
Organised in partnership with Popular Conservatism and chaired by Andrew Allison (Conference Director) and Blair Gibbs (Policy Director, Margaret Thatcher Centre), this conference will address how the UK can bolster its sovereignty and security in response to mass illegal migration.
Engage in dynamic discussions on practical policy solutions to restore sovereign control, alongside the legal and resourcing requirements for a secure border and a sustainable asylum system.
Hear from a diverse line-up of speakers, including elected representatives from major political parties, offering national and local perspectives.
